Are you an MIS or STM/ERB major interested in technology consulting? Pariveda Solutions will be hosting an in-depth case workshop with their consultants on Monday, August 25. The Pariveda consultants will walk you through a technology-related case interview question and provide important tips to prepare you for the technology consulting recruiting process. MIS and STM/ERB students are highly encouraged to take advantage of this workshop, and any BBA student may participate. Space is limited, so register ASAP!

UT ID Card Required for Entry. The Undergraduate Career Expo is for current McCombs School of Business students seeking internships and full-time positions. The career expo is open to current McCombs School of Business students in the BBA, MBA, MPA, MSF, MSBA and MSTC programs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is open to all UT Austin students from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

What to wear

You are required to wear business professional attire.

  • Matching suit required (dark blue, dark grey, or black)
  • Professional footwear
  • No bright or neon hair color
  • No visible facial piercings
  • All men must wear ties

Please see the Business Attire Guide for more information on business professional attire. Students not wearing business professional attire will not be permitted into the expo.

It's the chance for the ultimate two-way interview: recruiters get to know full-time and internship candidates from diverse backgrounds outside the interviewing room, and students discover how each company embraces and supports diversity. The BBA Etiquette Dinner (held each fall and spring) provides networking practice for BBA students with a networking session in addition to learning the do's and don'ts of business dining etiquette. Employers are seated with students to share stories and give advice on business networking. This case workshop will prepare students for case interviewing and will provide students invaluable preparation in the areas of problem-solving skills, logical communication, and personal presentation. The workshop will be presented by David Ohrvall, author of Crack the Case. Working lunch included. Pre-Workshop videos will be available once students submit a RSVP for this workshop. Seating is limited, so RSVP via OCR Workshops by September 24th at 5:00 pm. Attire: Student Casual.
