I am a sophomore from Sugar Land, TX, currently majoring in Marketing and looking to minor in MIS. I enjoy traveling, singing in the shower, and finding new places to eat around Austin. I am excited to serve as this year's Executive Vice President and to plan two awesome company field trips for MDC!

Christine Dang

I look forward to meeting y’all at our events throughout the year and please feel free to reach out to me about anything!

Nikita Ahuja

Hi! I'm Nikita and I'm a Sophomore Marketing major here at UT. This will be my second year in the McCombs Diversity Council and I'm so excited to serve as the Internal VP. I came from Plano, TX and joining MDC my first semester was the best decision I've made here at UT. I can't wait to see the org expand this year and all the new faces come in!

Sapan Patel

Hello! I am a Sophomore majoring in BHP and Accounting from San Antonio, TX (although I grew up in Maryland). As Corporate Relation VP, I lead the Diversity Dialogue Dinner and Interactive Diversity Forum and I am also responsible for our corporate speakers. I also have an unhealthy list of tv shows to watch so I would love to hear about your favorites. I look forward to getting to know all of y'all this year!

Resources

Professionalism is crucial in your career search, and it's just as crucial at the McCombs Diversity Council dinners. The McCombs Diversity Council dinners are formal events, but the atmosphere is relaxed and your goal should be to create relationships with recruiters. Your should focus on gathering information, developing a connections with the recruiters, and above all, obtaining the recruiter’s contact information for future follow-up. You may bring your resume to the dinner, but please do not hand out your resume unless the recruiter specifically asks for it. Please see the BBA Career Services BBA Instructional Guides or make an appointment with a BBA Career Services Career Coach for information on professional etiquette.

Please note that the deadline to cancel your RSVP for the dinner is one week prior to the event. If you do not cancel before this deadline and/or fail to show up for the event, you will be blocked and lose your OCR recruiting privileges. If an emergency situation occurs, please contact the event coordinators immediately to cancel your RSVP. Thank you.

McCombs Diversity Council strives to host events compliant with the state and university risk management policies. For more information about risk management, please view the Risk Management presentation.
