BBA Exchange Programs Application Process
Required Information Session
Before applying to a BBA exchange program, you must first attend a BBA study abroad information session, and then schedule an advising appointment to meet with a BBA International Programs Coordinator to discuss your plans and suitable program options. To schedule an appointment, call the UPO front desk at 471-0690 or stop by in CBA 2.400. You will not be able to apply until you have met with an exchange coordinator who will enter your EID on the web application system.
Application Deadline: March 1st
The application deadline for students who want to study abroad on a BBA Exchange during the following full next year (summer, fall and priority deadline for spring) is March 1, 2012. If March 1 falls on the weekend, then the deadline is the following Monday.
New application deadline for Copenhagen Business School summer program: February 1, 2012!
What does this mean for you? It means that you will have to plan ahead if you want to study abroad in the spring. You will need to gather information, research programs, meet with a BBA International Program advisor, and complete your application in time for this deadline.
Why is the spring deadline so early?
We actually do this to make it easier on the students who want to study abroad in the spring! Before, spring students applied in October, and so only had November and December to complete all of their required forms and paperwork. Visas alone can take up to 12 weeks for processing, so this was a difficult deadline for both the host schools and the students.
Secondary Deadline: October 1st
Is there any chance to submit a late application for a spring program?
Yes - we will have a secondary rolling application deadline on October 1, for Spring programs that still have openings available. These will be advertised in late spring, and applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis.
So plan ahead, attend an information session, meet with an advisor, and remember the priority application deadline.
March 1, 2012 is the deadline for Summer 2012, Fall 2012 and priority deadline for Spring 2013
Please note that Copenhagen Business School summer has an earlier deadline of February 1!
October 1, 2012 is the secondary deadline for Spring 2013 programs with available spaces
