Excursions

Company Visits

Company visits are an important component of the Edinburgh Business Law Program. They are designed to provide students with a firsthand look at important local industries, business practices, or in this case, insight into national politics. Company visits will vary on a yearly basis, and past company visits have included:

Weekday Trips

Cultural excursions provide students with an opportunity to experience the local flavor. Weekly outings, including admission fees, are coordinated on behalf of the group. These events are built into the program, and participation at each event is mandatory. With this in mind, cultural excursions are designed to fit into the program schedule and will usually take place Monday through Thursday in the early evenings, so as not to interfere with courses or weekend travel.

Three-Day Weekend Trip

The HAGGiS Adventures Wild & Sexy Highlands Tour is back for summer 2012! Get ready to spend three days touring the beautiful country of Scotland in a sexy yellow bus with 30 of your new friends. This is the fourth year business law students will have a chanceStudents pose in front of a yellow bus with the words to go on this tour. Every year students say it’s the perfect way to get acquainted on the first weekend of the program.

Where: Three-day tour through the Scottish Highlands 
When: Friday, June 28 – Sunday, June 30, 2013 
What: Transportation via coach bus, tour guide, entrance to select museums & tours, reserved beds at two hostels
Cost: About 109 pounds (approx. $175 USD)
