For questions about the
NUBS 2015 Conference
The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin is very excited to host the 2015 National Undergraduate Business Symposium (NUBS).
At the moment we are working on our conference program that will introduce you to the highlights of our campus and the business school as well as to the many things that make Austin such a wonderful, unique and “weird” city. We've received many requests for Texas BBQ from you and we will make sure that you'll have the real Austin experience (which may or may not include a ride on a mechanical bull).
In designing our schedule we kept the motto of our Longhorn football fans in mind: We want you to “come early, be loud, stay late, and wear orange!” The official program with sessions and keynote speakers will take place from Thursday, March 26 to Friday, March 27. But there are many things we'd like you to see. We have reserved a room block starting Wednesday, March 25, so that you'll have time to experience Austin and participate in optional tours on Thursday morning. You will be staying at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center right on campus and the special NUBS guest rate will extend until Sunday (depending on availability, so think of reserving early!). Plan to spend the weekend and take advantage of all things that Austin has to offer!
Once the theme of the conference has been set, we will send out a call for proposals during the fall semester 2014.
We will update this webpage continuously with information about travel, accommodation and registration as well as tips and advice on how to make the most out of your stay in Austin. So, make sure to check back frequently!
