Choose one of our ten nationally-ranked majors. You may also choose to complement your BBA degree by pursuing a minor in any of the business fields or branch out by pursuing a minor or dual-degree outside of business.

Accounting
A BBA in Accounting prepares students for a wide variety of professional opportunities, including positions in public and corporate accounting for businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Integrated Masters in Professional Accounting (iMPA)
The integrated approach to the MPA is a three-year program designed for students in the McCombs School of Business beyond their sophomore year who are in the process of earning a Bachelor in Business Administration degree. Upon completion of the integrated approach to the MPA, students graduate with both a Bachelor in Business Administration degree and a Master in Professional Accounting (MPA) degree.

The BHP is a close-knit community of scholars with an innovative, MBA-styled curriculum and an emphasis on strategic business management. Students who are admitted to the BHP start with a major in Business Honors

Engineering Route to Business (ERB)
Trying to chose between business and engineering? Why not combine the two? The Engineering Route to Business Program is a rigorous and challenging degree plan that satisfies industry's demand for technologically savvy graduates who have backgrounds in both engineering and business.

Finance
The Finance major provides students with the theoretical framework and analytical tools and techniques to handle a variety of finance and business functions. The program is designed to prepare a student for financial positions with non-financial corporations, the financial services industry, energy companies, small businesses, and real estate firms.

International Business
The International Business major provides students with a solid basic business education, specific understanding of the international dimensions of business, and an integrated knowledge of one major world region acquired through regional and language study and direct overseas experience.

Management
Management offers courses in such areas as consulting, change management, human capital management, and entrepreneurship. Students may choose from the available courses to customize a major in general management or follow the focused curriculum in consulting and change management.

The MIS program provides students with the educational background to articulate the economic value and the strategic role of IT and to develop and implement large-scale information systems.

The major in Marketing is designed to provide both the common background required for any marketing career and an opportunity for specialization in the areas of product design, advertising, pricing, consumer behavior and distribution management.

Supply Chain Management
Supply chain management prepares students to become leaders in supply management, the emerging paradigm for world-class corporations. Supply chain management is a total systems approach taken by companies, suppliers, and partners to deliver manufactured products and services to the end customer.

- Business Foundations Program
The Texas Business Foundations Program (Texas BFP) at UT’s top-rated McCombs School of Business is a certificate program meant to give undergraduate students of any discipline a fundamental background in business. The program allows students to supplement their current course of study and equip themselves with the business knowledge to turn passions into successful careers.
