After graduating from UT, I would like to work in consulting for a couple of years and then live and work abroad for a while. Eventually, I want to end up working at a nonprofit organization.
Best thing about McCombs:
One of the things I love most about McCombs is the emphasis on preparation for life after college. Our Career Services Team prepares students for their internships and helps us secure full-time offers with top companies before we graduate. And you can customize your degree to your heart’s desire: optional minors and interdisciplinary certificate programs let you adapt your degree to pursue your passion and stay competitive in today’s dynamic business world.
Favorite thing to do at UT:
What I love about UT is that there are so many places to get a good workout. For morning rides with Texas 4000, the student cycling organization I belong to that does fundraising for cancer, we often meet at one of the UT parking lots. When I longboard (skateboard), the 40 acres provides the perfect hills to practice my balance, and the trees at the south mall are great for slack lining.
Cool things I've done during my time at UT:
- I volunteered at both Austin City Limit and SXSW music festivals.
- I trained for 18 months with 68 other students to ride my bike from Austin to Anchorage, AK to raise money for cancer research this past summer with the Texas 4000 team.
