I would like to start off working in investment banking in New York City and see where my career goes from there. Ideally, I would like to work in private equity or investment management further down the line.
Best thing about McCombs:
It is the perfect mix of top-ranked professors and an energetic, driven student body. Our students do incredible things both within the university and outside: from volunteering to internship with major companies to starting their own companies. The competitive yet collaborative atmosphere of McCombs has helped push me to be the best student I can be.
Favorite thing to do at UT:
Texas football Saturdays. Nothing in the world matches a day of tailgating followed by screaming along with 100,000 other fans for the Horns.
What I love about Austin:
From the incredible music scene to “keeping it weird” to the foodie culture, you will never be bored in Austin. There are outdoor activities such as the Green Belt and Barton Springs, incredible music events and all types of art to immerse yourself in. Tack on the Saturday nights you’ll be spending at DKR Memorial Texas Stadium, and you have the perfect city.
Cool things I've done during my time at UT:
I studied abroad in Prague and it was easily the best decision I've ever made in my life. Meeting new people from all over the world, traveling in Europe, and experiencing new cultures made this trip once in a lifetime.
Second place is the road trip I took to Ole Miss for the Ole Miss v. Texas football game in 2012. Best tailgating in the US and a weekend in the SEC that was one for the books.
On top of these I've had many awesome experiences in Austin such as seeing Kendrick Lamar's first concert performance of good kid, m.A.A.d city at Emo's East and Mumford and Sons at SXSW.
