The Texas BBA Parents Council has set up three subcommittees to cooperate with the BBA Program Office in three principal areas:

Academic Support & Global Experiences

  • Student Advising
  • Study Abroad Opportunities

Prospective Student Recruitment & Diversity

Leadership Development & Student Organizations

The Texas BBA Parents Council provides the opportunity for parents to work side-by-side with BBA Program staff to enhance the undergraduate experience.

Opportunities for Engagement

  • Speaking – opportunities at events including leadership development events, McCombs MFEA, DYNAMC, LeaderShape® at McCombs retreat, and student organization weekly meetings
  • Videos from a parents' perspective – recruitment and global experience videos
  • Events – host and/or attend McCombs informational events in Texas cities for prospective students to learn more about the application process
  • Fundraising – support Texas BBA Parents Council's efforts to raise a $4 million in endowment funds as well as current use funds for the BBA program
