BHP Advisors

The Business Honors Program has dedicated academic advisors who are fluent in university and BHP resources. In an appointment with an advisor, you'll discuss more than just academic classes: the BHP advisors want to know you and your goals, struggles, and strengths. Our advisors take an individualized approach to each student's academic plan. They offer scholastic guidance, and they can answer any questions you may have about UT and the BHP.

Letitia Monsey is a two-time graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Education in Counselor Education and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. Having worked at the University since 2009, Letitia is intimately familiar with UT’s many resources and programs. Letitia is passionate about helping students discover new opportunities and make sense of their experiences as they navigate their academic and professional paths.

Paul Pritchett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from The University of Louisiana. Paul worked in Washington D.C. as a consultant for the Department of Education and the Environmental Protection Agency. Paul has a passion for helping students and looks forward to sharing his experiences with current and future BHP students in the general areas of academic tracks. His experience in banking, consulting and sales offer an added value to the student's academic advising experience.

BHP Mentors

College life can be a big change for incoming freshmen. The freshmen mentor program helps freshmen through their first year. BHP also provides and alumni mentor program for upperclassmen to help them through the career exploration process.

We match every BHP freshman with a BHP upperclassman to serve as their mentor. Peer Mentors are there to help new students settle into BHP and UT. They help connect new students to upperclassmen and campus resources. Every BHP freshman will have ongoing interaction with their peer mentor during the first semester.
