Undergraduate Business Council

VIP: American Airlines
On March 25, Thomas Hortons from the American Airlines was featured as the Distinguished Speaker for the VIP event hosted by the Undergraduate Business Council. Mr. Hortons encouraged students to live by their values and principles in all that they do, no matter what challenges come their way.
BBA Legacy Midnight Munchies
On March 26, 2014 the BBA Legacy Campaign Committee hosted its brand-new campaign event, Midnight Munchies.
Company Visit: T3
On Feb 28, 2014, twenty-five McCombs students when on a company visit to T3 (“The Think Tank”). T3 is one of US’s top integrated marketing and digital advertising agencies headquartered in Austin. Their CEO, Gay Gaddis, started the largest advertising agency owned by a female in 1989. Today, T3′s clients include UPS, JC Penney, Coca-cola, and JP Morgan.
FRP: Dr. Jaime Schmidt
On February 25, Dr. Jaime Schmidt from the Accounting department was featured in a Faculty Research Presentation hosted by the Faculty Relations Committee of the Undergraduate Business Council. Dr. Schmidt discussed the information content of present-day audit reports and the value of auditing.
McCombs Executive Summit
On February 8th the McCombs School of Business hosted the annual McCombs Executive Summit and gave students an amazing event that focused on human capital in the modern age. The event consisted of a Q&A from industry leaders, a case competition, and an informative keynote address.
