Parents Supporting Students
Since its inception, the Business Honors Program has relied heavily upon the generosity of BHP parents to support the academic and professional programming that defines the honors student experience. Because donations from BHP parents go directly into the operating budget, parents can be confident that their financial contributions will provide a direct and immediate benefit for their sons and daughters. Case competitions, speaking engagements with alumni from industry, and academic boot camps are just

a few examples of the activities that depend on support from annual donations.
Annual Giving plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall quality of a BHP education. Currently, the annual price of tuition and fees is $10,326 per student. The actual cost of a Texas education is about four times this figure, and with limited state funding supporting only 14% of UT's budget, annual gifts are critical to keeping tuition costs low while offering the exemplary educational experience parents and students expect.

Gifts from parents can be made online, by phone, or by mail. BHP also welcomes gifts of stock or securities or through a matching company.

Parent Committee volunteers are vital to BHP's yearly effort by helping to encourage fellow parents to join in supporting the Program through time and philanthropy. They also participate in on-campus and recruiting events, as well as share their experiences as BHP parents.
