Choosing your payment plan

• ONE-TIME PAYMENT
  
  Outright gifts of cash, by check or credit card, are the easiest gifts to make. They are also tax deductible in the year given.

• DEFERRED PLEDGE
  
  We want you to be comfortable with your gift, so if you'd rather not make a one-time payment now, the BHP gratefully accepts pledges — gifts that are deferred or paid out over time. You can make a pledge commitment and set up a payment schedule that works best for you. Deferring your pledge until September is a convenient way to make a commitment now while not having to make the actual payment until you've started your full-time job. Pledges can be made by printing out the pledge form below and turning it into the BHP Office. The BHP Office also keeps blank forms on hand if you want to stop by and fill one out there.
  
• INSTALLMENTS
  In addition to deferring, you also have the option of paying your pledge installments. If you spread your pledge out over 6 months, 12 months, or even 18 months, it only takes a few clicks of the mouse to set up a payment plan that automatically drafts your credit card monthly over the period you specify. For instance, a student who makes the recommended $250 pledge over 12 months will have an automatic draft of $20.83 a month. The easiest way to set up an installment plan is to use our easy online giving form.
  
• DEFERRED INSTALLMENTS
  
  Deferred installment is the most popular payment option for students donating to the Make-a-Mark campaign. This option lets you postpone your first installment until September, allowing you to begin work and then pay off your pledge over a period of up to a year. Deferred installments can be made by printing out the pledge form below and turning it into the BHP Office. The BHP Office also keeps blank forms on hand if you want to stop by and fill one out there.
