About the Undergraduate Career Expo

The Undergraduate Career Expo (held each fall and spring) provides opportunities for employers to recruit full-time and internship candidates at the McCombs School of Business. If you're interested in recruiting BBA, MPA, and/or MSF students, consider attending the Undergraduate Career Expos. The Undergraduate Career Expos are open to all current McCombs School of Business students in the BBA, MPA, MSF, MBA, and MSTC programs. The expo is the largest McCombs School of Business career fair, and it's hosted by the Undergraduate Career Committee and McCombs BBA Career Services.

Please note that the McCombs Fall 2013 Undergraduate Career Expo will be open to all current McCombs student populations, as well as all current University of Texas at Austin students. McCombs student populations have access to the Expo for the duration of the event and UT students will have access between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Registration and Payment Information

Registration is now open! Registration fee includes an 8’ x 10’ booth and table, 2 parking permits, 6 ft. table with cloth, two chairs, company sign, lunch and snacks for up to 4 recruiters per booth.

• Early Bird Registration: $600.00: Register: March 18, 2013 – June 21, 2013
• Regular Registration: $650.00: Register: June 22, 2013 – August 9, 2013
• Late Registration: $700.00: Register: August 10, 2013 – September 4, 2013 

Additional Fees

• Additional Parking Permits (above 2 included): $10
• Additional Company Representatives (above 4 included): $35 per person (includes meal and parking permit)
• Booth Electricity: $75 
• Booth Carpeting: $75

Registration and Payment Deadlines

• August 28: Deadline to receive a full refund for career expo cancellation
• August 30: Last day to make edits to your company profile for inclusion in the Career Expo student brochure
• September 4: Career Expo payment due in full
• September 9: Freight shipping deadline
• September 10-12: Career Week

All cancellations after August 28, 2013 will be billed in full.

Recruiter Information Packet and Shipping Details

The Recruiter Packet includes information on shipping materials, directions, parking/map, accommodations, and other details. We will post the Fall 2013 Recruiter Packet when registration is open.

Directions and Parking

The Undergraduate Career Expo will be held at the UT RecSports Center on the main campus of The University of Texas at Austin.

Driving Directions

From IH-35 North

Take exit 235A toward University of Texas/Martin Luther King (MLK) Blvd. Turn right onto MLK. Continue westbound on MLK to Red River Street, turn right onto Red River Street, and turn left onto Robert Dedman Drive.

From IH-35 South

Take exit 235A toward University of Texas/Martin Luther King Blvd (MLK) Blvd.  Turn left onto MLK. Continue westbound on MLK to Red River Street, turn right onto Red River Street, and turn left onto Robert Dedman Drive.

From Eastbound on MLK Boulevard

Continue eastbound on MLK, turn left onto Red River Street, and turn right onto Robert Dedman Drive.  

Unloading Area

If you are carrying display materials to the Expo, proceed to the loading zone located between RecSports and Montcrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center before parking. Following Robert Dedman Drive, you may unload materials at the loading zone driveway located to your left (on the north side of the UT RecSports Center). Volunteers will be available in the loading zone to assist you with your materials and to deliver the materials to your booth.  The entrance can be accessed from Robert Dedman Drive. Parking

Once you have unloaded your supplies, you may proceed to parking in the University parking garage. We recommend Manor Garage (MAG) as it is the closest. In the event that Manor garage (MAG) is full, Trinity Garage (TRG) and Brazos Garage (BRG) are also close to the UT RecSports Center. The loading zone, Manor Garage and Trinity Garage are indicated on the map in the Recruiter Information Packet. For additional garage locations, please visit the University Parking Garages website.
