Wanted: A New Kind of Leader

The challenges of healthcare delivery require a new kind of leadership. We will need entrepreneurs and leaders highly skilled in business disciplines and who possess a deep understanding of the healthcare field.

To begin to foster that leadership, we have recently started several educational initiatives:

• MBA Healthcare Concentration
• Working Professional MBA programs now located in Dallas and Houston medical school complexes
• Executive Development Programs targeting healthcare systems and providers
• Connecting students to recruiters in the healthcare field

The McCombs School of Business also has an active and engaged MBA Healthcare Association, which is involved in the creation of programs for the fall seminar and spring symposium.
