McCombs School announces entrepreneur role models

Violina Rindova, currently the Zlotnik Family Chair in Entrepreneurship and Herb Kelleher Chair in Entrepreneurship at McCombs School of Business, is the director of the school's Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship, Growth and Renewal. Rindova is known for her research on companies including Google, Amazon and Starbucks, and she is the winner of the 2009 Thought Leadership Award from the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division.

The university also appointed Preston James II, former Managing Director of the Dell Global Center for Entrepreneurs and current Chairman of the E3 Angel Network, as the school's next entrepreneur-in-residence for the 2015-2016 school year. His predecessor, Austin Technology Incubator co-founder Laura Kilcrease will continue to moderate the Entrepreneurship Live and Money Talks speaker series, which she started during her stint as entrepreneur-in-residence.
