The McCombs REIT fund will seek to outperform a market-weighted US Equity REIT benchmark portfolio.  The fund’s current benchmark portfolio is the Dow Jones U.S. Select REIT Index (“the Index”) .  The fund takes overweight (long) and underweight (short) positions relative to the index based upon fundamental security analysis and a pairs comparison across highly correlated REITs within the same REIT sector.  Active overweight and underweight positions relative to the benchmark provide the opportunity for the REIT Fund to outperform the benchmark.  The REIT fund will strive to be fully invested in long-only equity REIT positions.
