Aimy Steadman

Accenture Venture Partner from 2013-2014
Aimy Steadman led marketing efforts and the 2014 Venture Labs Investment Competitions at Texas Venture Labs. Aimy is a 2013 graduate from the McCombs MBA Program. Aimy is a co-founder of BeatBox Beverages, a mixed alcohol beverage company and is currently pursuing her startup fulltime. Aimy received her BS in Advertising and certificates in Business Foundations and Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofits from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008.


Jacob Blair

Accenture Venture Partner from 2012-2013
Jacob was head of operations for the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs courses. Through Texas Venture Labs, Jacob worked with companies at various stages of growth, in a variety of industries including software, clean technology, social media and high-tech consumer goods. He received his B.S. from Purdue University and M.S. from The University of Texas at Austin, both in Mechanical Engineering.


Andrew (Sid) Allen

Accenture Venture Partner from 2012-2013
Sid is the founder of Escapaide Travel, Inc., which offers customized concierge services to hotels. Sid also served as a company commander in the United States Army. He received his B.S. in Math with a minor in Physics and Nuclear Engineering from the United States Military Academy and M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.


Lydia McClure

Accenture Venture Partner from 2012-2013
Lydia was the lead Venture Partner responsible for the 2013 Texas and Global Venture Labs Investment Competitions, graduate-student centric opportunities for new companies to compete for seed funding. Changes implemented in the 2013 competitions led to a record number of company applicants and awards for both competitions. As a student in Texas Venture Labs, she worked with nanomedicine, health IT and software companies. Lydia received her B.A. from Carleton College and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.


Michael Pierce

Accenture Venture Partner from 2012-2013
Michael is the co-founder of Equipboard, a platform to see and discuss what equipment and gear your favorite athletes, musicians and more are using, wearing, recommending and endorsing. before he received his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, Michael joined the Global Opportunities in Leadership Development (GOLD) rotational program at Northern Trust, working in securities and derivatives trading, equity research, wealth management, and portfolio management in Chicago and London. With Texas Venture Labs, he has worked with six companies in industries ranging from software to medical devices.


Ramiro Palma

Accenture Venture Partner from 2012-2013
Ramiro joined the Texas Venture Labs as a student during the Fall of 2010. As a student in TVL, he led a total of eight engagements, working with companies that have gone on to raise nearly $12 million. He was also awarded an Engineering Doctoral Fellowship by the Cockrell School of Engineering. He is a recipient of the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. As an Accenture Venture Partner, he worked to improve the way TVL recruits both partner companies and students. Ramiro was also responsible for TVL's marketing and communications.


Rex Morrow

Co-founder of Texas Venture Labs and Accenture Venture Partner from 2011-2012
Rex is the Operations Manager at Datical, an enterprise software company that automates the deployment of database schema. Rex co-founded Texas Venture Labs and served as a Captain in the United States Army. He received his B.S. in Psychology from Boston University and M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.

Aaron is founder of Five 12 Restaurant Concepts in Houston, Texas. He also served as one of the first Accenture Venture Partners for Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs where he worked with early and later-stage angel and venture-backed portfolio companies. Aaron received both an M.B.A. and B.S. from The University of Texas. Aaron has also worked as a management Consultant for Deloitte Consulting in Dallas and as an Associate Brand Manager for Yum! Brands. Aaron is a lifelong entrepreneur. While in college he started and sold a company and has worked for several startups.


Randall Crowder

Randall Crowder

Co-founder of Texas Venture Labs
Randall is a Managing Partner at TEXO Ventures, an Austin, TX-based healthcare venture firm. He led the Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN) to become one of the most active networks in the country and co-founded Texas Venture Labs (TVL) at the University of Texas at Austin. Randall also served as an officer in the U.S. Army. He received his B.S. from USMA at West Point and an MBA from The McCombs School of Business. He is a Kauffman Fellow and member of the Young Entrepreneur Council.
