The Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (Texas VLIC) is designed to mimic the real-world process of raising venture capital. Graduate students from the University of Texas present their ideas for new businesses, and receive invaluable feedback from entrepreneurs and investors.
Many Texas VLIC competitors go on to launch their businesses. Successful competitors have included uShip, Ordoro and Qcue among others. Download a copy of the program to learn what happened at the 2013 event.
The 2015 Texas VLIC
The 2015 Texas VLIC will be on February 4, 2015 for the Semifinals and February 5, 2015 for the Finals at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, TX. We will be holding information sessions in the fall. Check back here for more information.
