The Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs is dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and commercialization. In service of this mission we have created, in coordination with the McCombs School of Business, the TVL Scholar Program, a unique scholarship program for entrepreneurial students interested in attending business school.

The TVL Scholar Award is a competitive scholarship awarded each February. Each TVL Scholar Award is worth up to $199,000 and includes:

• A $20,000 scholarship
• An in-state tuition waiver worth $30,000
• A slot for your company in the TVL Accelerator program worth $74,000
• Admission into the ATI SEAL program worth $25,000
• Consideration for a post-graduate position as an Accenture Venture Partner worth $50,000

Awardees must enroll in the McCombs MBA program within 18 months of receiving their award.

Texas Venture Labs Scholarship Competition

The TVL Scholar Award is competitive. Selected applicants will be invited to The University of Texas at Austin to compete in the TVL Scholarship Competition to be held in conjunction with the Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (TVLIC).

Currently, applications for the TVL Scholar Program are closed. We expect to reopen the application process in November of 2013.
