Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law and Business
The Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law and Business was established jointly by the School of Law and the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. The mission of the interdisciplinary center will be to provide the finest educational opportunities in the U.S. to students pursuing careers in energy. The center will also provide critical analyses of legal, business and policy questions related to energy and the energy industry, both domestic and international, including an emphasis on Latin America.
Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs
Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs (TVL) at The University of Texas at Austin is a university-wide initiative to support technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, and innovation, while providing a unique and directly applicable educational experience for participating students. The purpose is to provide the intellectual horsepower to promote new venture creation at The University of Texas at Austin through mentoring, market and business plan validation, networking, and direct links to resources and funding.
The Global Venture Labs Investment Competition, which is known as the “Super Bowl of investment competitions,” brings together teams from around the globe to compete for the opportunity to launch their new business plan idea.

LeaderShape ® – LeaderShape Institute is a six-day interactive leadership conference that provides undergraduate students with the tools to uphold ethical values, enrich relationships, and become outstanding leaders.
Leadership Program – The Leadership Program provides undergraduate students with unique programs and activities from their freshman to senior year to complement their academic requirements while enhancing their leadership development, awareness and actions on an individual, local, and global level.
Business Honors Program – The Business Honors Program (BHP) is an innovative degree program designed to provide intellectual challenge and professional development for students with exceptional academic abilities and leadership skills. The BHP curriculum and corresponding programming is designed to develop students at every stage of their college careers.
Scholarships – Scholarship support enables the McCombs School to attract and retain a high caliber of students, many of whom would not be able to complete their education without financial support.
MBA+ Leadership Program – As an individually tailored professional development and leadership experience, MBA+ provides an evolving series of services, micro-consulting projects, and workshops that connect our MBAs to companies of interest, while heightening communication skills and keeping our students ahead of the curve.
Information Management (IM) Program – The IM Program focuses on developing business leaders who understand how to leverage IT to create value for customers and are educated on the strategic, financial, and economic implications of IT projects. Supporting this program offers companies the ability to connect with students, faculty, and other industry leaders.
