Expenses

The McCombs School of Business, with the generous support of the Bates Family Foundation, will cover the cost of airfare (up to $600) and lodging for paper presenters and discussants on the conference program. Meals are included for all registered attendees.

We invite you to the 13th annual research conference on Strategy and the Business Environment. This conference rotates among several top business schools. This year the McCombs School of Business will host the event on May 22-23, 2013.

The objective of this conference is to explore the interrelationships between the business strategies of firms and the social, legal, and political environment in which they operate. We are looking for a wide range of research perspectives and methodologies, including formal theoretical modeling, quantitative empirical research, and qualitative research. Papers drawn from economics, political science, strategic management, and other fields are appropriate for the conference.
