The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business took 1st Place in 4th Annual National Undergraduate Supply Chain and Operations Case Competition on April 2, 2016.

In addition to the team win, Amy Yu was named the 2016 Best Presenter.
Hosted by the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Business, the competition brought together undergraduate students from 15 of the top supply chain management programs in the country including Michigan State University, Penn State University, and Arizona State University.
The teams had 24 hours to develop and present a solution to a 3M case. The presentations were judged by representatives from 3M, Cargill, C.H. Robinson, Land O’Lakes, Target, Polaris, Andersen, Best Buy, Eaton, FedEx, General Mills, Medtronic, and Protiviti.
The UT-Austin team’s cohesive solution and presentation, poise, and solid financial analysis put them ahead of the field for the win.
The team was assembled and sponsored by the Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence – a company-sponsored center dedicated to developing outstanding academic programs and talent in supply chain management.
