Niket Jindal is a doctoral student in the Marketing department at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests are in empirical analysis of the impact of firm-level marketing decisions on firm performance. He is currently researching: 1) the impact of marketing in the context of bankruptcy and firm survival and 2) marketing expenditure disclosure as an indicator of strategic emphasis.
Niket received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to joining the program, he worked in the semiconductor industry in marketing and R&D roles discovering and satisfying the needs of customers in networking, telecom, automotive, defense, and consumer electronics industries.
