Stephanie Jue is assistant director of the Energy Management Program and a lecturer in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in business law and ethics. As assistant director, Jue assists with programming, works with students, and networks with organizations and individuals in the energy industry.

Before coming to UT, she taught undergraduate business law courses and undergraduate sociology courses at Mississippi State University. Jue also taught sociology courses at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. In addition, she was a consultant for Roger CPA, Sage Publications, and the Saylor Foundation, working on a CPA exam review course, an undergraduate business law textbook, and material for an introductory business law course.

As a lawyer, she worked as an associate corporate counsel for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, a law clerk for the Vollor Law Firm in Mississippi, and property/title analyst for Exxon Mobil Corp. in Houston.

Jue is a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society, the Alpha Kappa Delta honor society for sociology, and the Psi Chi honor society for psychology. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Mississippi Bar.

She holds a B.A. in psychology and an M.S. in sociology from Mississippi State University, a J.D. from the South Texas College of Law, and an LL.M. in energy, environmental, and natural resources from the University of Houston Law Center.
