Wenger earned his MBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin. His focus is strengthening the McCombs School of Business brand equity, while supporting the school's mission of sharing relevant intellectual capital beyond the academic community.
He is the former president and lead consultant of I.D. University, where he developed brand strategies and marketing plans for major industrial and service businesses, including Dresser, Inc., JSR Micro, Coldwell Banker, and Iomega Corp.
Wenger worked for nine years as the creative partner at TateAustin marketing and public affairs, and five years at Fellers & Company as a senior copywriter and creative director. Prior to that he was president of Wenger Advertising and Silver Lake Studios.
