LBJ Library |
The Lyndon Baines Johnson
Library and Museum is one of ten presidential
libraries administered by the National Archives and
Records Administration. The library houses forty
million pages of historical documents, which include
the papers from the entire public career of Lyndon
Baines Johnson and also from those of close
associates. The museum provides year-round public
viewing of its permanent historical and cultural
exhibits. |

Jim Hodges
Jim Hodges transforms ordinary
objects into poetic spectacles of color and light.
Born in Spokane, Washington in 1957 and based in New
York, Jim Hodges is a key figure in the generation
of artists who emerged in the 1990s to challenge
accepted notions of art making in relation to high
and low culture.
Tré Arenz: Sameness
In the whimsical, poignant,
and thought provoking, one-room installation
entitled, Sameness, Tre Arenz celebrates the
domestic and the everyday. Trained as a ceramist at
the California College of the Arts at Oakland and at
the University of Texas in Austin, Arenz took clay
beyond the functional and the decorative to the
sculptural. |

Esther’s Follies |
The Follies show is a topical
revue, featuring a repertory company of professional
performers, with sketches and songs updated as the
news dictates, changing the shows out every 3-4
months. Esther's Follies bows to its vaudeville
roots with specialty acts booked each week, such as
jugglers, magicians, dog acts, and standup comics. |
