Project Management Consortium

What is it

Based at The University of Texas at Austin, the Project Management Consortium (PMC) is dedicated to the development and dissemination of new ideas in project management. Our mission is to merge leading-edge research with industry best practices to develop and deliver innovative, highly effective, yet practical approaches to project management. We work in a wide variety of industries, including energy/petrochemical, new product development, construction, software development and information technology systems implementation. Our focus is on the integrated project delivery process starting with front-end development, through project delivery and transitioning into operational performance.

WHO'S INVOLVED

Project management requires managerial and technical skills. Our cross-functional organization includes faculty from the McCombs School of Business and the Cockrell School of Engineering, complemented by visiting faculty and experienced industry professionals.

HOW WE execute solutions

We apply, develop and deliver new ideas through several channels including consulting, custom program and open enrollment programs. Our open enrollment programs are provided to the public on a fixed schedule, while fully customized services are available as requested.
