Now in its third year, Subiendo was created at the University of Texas at Austin to prepare new leaders to address the needs of the next generation. In 2010, the inaugural class included 47 students from Central Texas and had four days of programming. In 2011, Subiendo expanded to almost 100 students from across the state and added an extra day of programming.
