The Texas MBA+ Leadership Program

"Each semester the MBA+ program provides Texas MBAs with hands-on opportunities to enhance and develop their leadership skills. The core components of the program focus on professional communication, project leadership and management, and industry tools and methods. Students who I have seen take advantage of MBA+ gain an edge on the leadership experience and savvy that employers look for.”

MBA+ Projects

Throughout the calendar year, MBAs identify companies with which they want to work. MBA+ helps connect students to these organizations, regardless of the industry or location, by facilitating a micro-consulting project. The client provides a current business question to be addressed. MBA+ provides each team with a budget and guides the team through the project management process. At the end of a 4 – 10 week project period, the team reports their findings and recommendations to their client, often traveling to the client's location to do so.

For more information about projects, contact Deidra Stephens, MBA+ Director at 512-232-3780 or deidra.stephens@mccombs.utexas.edu.
