Becoming an Alumni Admissions Volunteer
Looking for a way to get involved in the BHP as an alumnus? Our alumni admissions volunteers play an integral role in shaping the future of the program by interviewing high school seniors applying for admission to the BHP. These interviews require a minimal amount of time on the part of alumni yet provide invaluable information for the BHP admissions committee. Between the months of December and February, interviewers complete up to three phone interviews with applicants. The interviews take about 20 minutes. Once the interview is done, you'll fill out a short online evaluation of the student.
If being an admissions volunteer sounds like the thing for you, just follow the two short steps below to get started. Once these steps are completed, you'll be notified via e-mail when an applicant is assigned to you. In the interim, if you'd like to read more detailed information on conducting the interview, registered volunteers can view the interview guidelines on the secure site.
**Please note that you will not have access to the interviewer system until you receive an email from the BHP staff stating that access has been granted. Indicating your interest in MOR does not automatically grant you access to the system.
If you have any questions, please e-mail them to BHPInterviews@mccombs.utexas.edu. Thanks for volunteering!
