Introducing your Hosts for the Texas Evening and Executive MBA Women's Forum
Marisa Maricich, MBA 2012
Marisa Maricich is a third-year student in the Texas Evening MBA program. She is a member of Graduate Women in Business (GWIB) and the Graduate Marketing Association, as well as the McCombs Admissions Committee. Marisa grew up in Mount Vernon, Washington and attended college at Gonzaga University's Spokane, Washington and Florence, Italy campuses. She has a bachelor's degree in business with concentrations in marketing, economics and entrepreneurship. Marisa currently works for Electronic Arts as the Global IT MarCom Manager, and previously she worked for seven years in marketing and sales for various non-profits. Through the Texas MBA+ Program, she has done consulting projects for 3M, Dell, and National Instruments.
Reena Bawa, MBA 2013
Reena Bawa is a first-year student in the Texas Executive MBA program. She grew up in India and moved to the United States in 2002. She has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and currently works at Austin Energy as a senior business systems analyst. She is also a director and partner at Malteo Inc, a software and technical solutions provider in the greater Austin area. Reena is on the steering committee for the McCombs India Alumni Association. Reena hopes to broaden her skill set with a Texas Executive MBA in order to gain a holistic understanding of running an organization.
