Visit Us On Campus

The best way to determine if the Texas MBA program is the right fit for you is joining us for a campus visit. We recommend that you plan your visit for the time that is most convenient for you - no matter what point in your application process that may be. Campus visits are primarily designed as a tool to help you get a better feel for McCombs; therefore, visits planned after your application is submitted are just as valuable as those that take place during your application preparation. For the most relevant campus experience, we encourage you to avoid planning your visit during times of the year when students are not on campus (i.e. winter break, spring break, summer). The interaction you receive with current students adds significant value to your visit through the class visits they host and personal stories they can share about their MBA experience.

Campus Visit Options

Information Session

There are currently not any information sessions scheduled. Please check back during the summer for a listing of fall and spring semester information sessions.

Class Visit

Class visits are offered on Mondays and Thursdays throughout each semester. You can sign up to attend either a morning or afternoon visit. Due to space considerations in MBA classes and to maintain available options to our volume of guests, please limit your request to one class visit (either a.m. or p.m.). You can maximize your visit experience by combining your Monday/Thursday option with a Friday event. Check the class visit calendar for events that accommodate your plans.

Women's Forum

The Texas MBA Women's Forum at the McCombs School of Business offers you the opportunity to meet many of our future female business leaders currently enrolled in the Texas MBA program, attend a class, meet faculty, and share alumni experiences. Additionally, you will gain knowledge about the admissions process, discover career opportunities, grasp the global experience, and picture yourself as a Texas MBA. Visit the Women's Forum web page for more information and to register.

Diversity Forum

Our annual Texas MBA Diversity Forum is an opportunity for qualified applicants to learn more about the benefits of an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, the strengths of the McCombs program, and how business school will ultimately affect their ability to become exceptional business leaders. While the Diversity Forum is open to everyone, African American, Hispanic American, and Native American applicants are especially encouraged to attend. Visit the Diversity Forum web page for more information and to register.
