Each year, Texas MBA students explore opportunities in global markets by participating in a program called McCombs Global Connections. MGC combines an intensive three credit hour course with an eight to ten-day study tour to the business powerhouses of the world.

Students learn about the economic, political, cultural, and social background of the country in the pre-study tour course through guest speakers, project work and case studies. While traveling, they visit multinational and local companies, explore cultural sites and network with alumni.

Project Sponsorship: McCombs Global Connections welcomes collaborations with our corporate partners. We are seeking companies who wish to sponsor international projects in one of the destinations we are visiting.

Global Connections Photo Contest : The MGC Photo Contest showcases the exciting travels, experiences and adventures of MBA students during the Global Connections courses.

global-china"I went to China for my Global Connection, and it was an invaluable experience to spend time in a country that is a giant player in the world. Working at Target I had conversations with so many companies that were sourcing product in China, but to see the entire value chain first hand really brought my understanding to another level."
