Competition Rules
Twenty teams will be competing in the 2009 McCombs International Business Challenge. These teams will be assigned to one of four presentation rooms at random. Time slots and presentation room will be randomly decided prior to the start of the competition to ensure fairness in preparation. One team out of each presentation room will advance to the finals.
Format of Presentation
- Presentations and any other files needed for presentation will be submitted beforehand to ensure equal time among teams in the competition.
- Presentations must be done in Microsoft PowerPoint format files. Laptops and presentation clickers will be provided for use during presentation. Your presentation and any other files will be pre-loaded onto the computers.
- Any school bringing their own computers may give their presentations using their own software. Only five minutes are allotted for presentation setup. Your files will be loaded onto your own equipment from the room proctor.
- Team computers must be able to connect to a LCD panel for presentations.
- Please be familiar with how to enable the external VGA port before competing.
Presentation Information
- Exact presentation order, room assignments and presentation times will be determined via a drawing prior to the start of the competition.
- Preliminary and Finals Presentations will be given in designated rooms in the McCombs School of Business
