Lisa Koonce is a professor in the Department of Accounting at the McCombs School of Business and also the Deloitte & Touche Endowed Chair in Accounting. She received her BSBA from Southern Illinois University, MAS from the University of Illinois, and PHD from the University of Illinois. Her current research projects involve a variety of topics including compound financial instruments, evaluating firms' benchmark performance over time, and investors' focus on managerial disclosures. She's won numerous teaching awards including the MPA Council's Outstanding Professor Award in 2012, University of Texas Regents Teaching Award 2009, University of Texas Academy of Distinguished Teachers 2007, and University of Texas MBA Program Faculty Honor Roll 2000-2011. 

J. Kamas is an accomplished adjunct professor and senior-level financial director with over 20 years of experience at the University of Texas where he's steered projects in financial planning, accounting operations and marketing. He is an esteemed speaker, and exceptional mentor and trainer. Kamas has developed programs that enrich and guide students, and inspire team commitment to goals and high-quality performance standards. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
