Kristina Zvinakis is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting at the McCombs School of Business. Zvinakis earned her B.S. in Accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her PhD in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Her current research projects include topics like the assessment of late-filing firms when it comes to accelerated 10-K filing deadlines, and the role of taxes in corporate restructurings. Zvinakis won the Outstanding Accounting Faculty Award from the Master in Professional Accounting Council in 2009. She has participated in the international programs for the last five summers and enjoyed them immensely. The opportunity to live and learn in another country is one that she highly recommends all students to experience.

 

Yong YuYong Yu is an assistant professor of accounting at the McCombs School of Business. Yu received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include: cross-listing, financial analysts, institutional investors and voluntary disclosure.
