World Class Faculty

The Texas MSF Program affords students the opportunity to work with and learn from our world-class faculty. Renowned for their teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, the McCombs School of Business was chosen to have the “Best Professors” by the Princeton Review in 2011, ranking No. 1 out of 294 schools.  The UT Finance Department consistently ranks among the top finance departments in the world, including its recent ranking of No. 6 among all finance departments in the 2011 U.S. News & World Report survey of Undergraduate Business Schools.  The faculty are also renowned for their research, as indicated by a No. 3 ranking for the Chronicle of Higher Education’s Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index.

Students in the MSF Program will also benefit from the wealth of activities that stem from the UT Department of Finance’s Centers of Excellence, including the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center, the Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Center for Private Equity Finance, the EDS Financial Trading & Technology Center, and the Center for Energy Finance Education and Research.
