Whether you are in the process of transitioning out or preparing for a promotion, the Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) may be the business master's degree that leads to attaining your goals.

Program Highlights

Designed so that you can continue meeting your current duties and responsibilities, the Texas MSTC Program combines cutting-edge technology, entrepreneurship and education. This preeminent masters program in technology commercialization bridges the gap between ideas and needs in the marketplace resulting in the creation of new, innovative ventures and products.

  • One-Year Business Master’s degree
  • Start classes at the end of April/early May. Graduate the following May
  • Designed for working professionals with 24 alternating class weekends
  • Three intensive weeks (May, August, and December)
  • Take classes in Austin or LIVE Online Option
  • Work on actual technologies

Texas State Veterans Benefits

Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website at http://www.gibill.va.gov to learn more and determine your eligibility under the new bill.

The MSTC Program does not receive state funding so Hazelwood Act benefits do not apply, however students may be eligible for the Texas MSTC Military Waiver in place of the Hazelwood Act. This bill does not cover the cost of books and students CANNOT receive the Military Waiver AND the GI Bill.

The Post-911 GI Bill will only cover the tuition. Fees for housing, food, books, etc. are not included. The amount is based off of a percent of eligibility of service. Veterans may choose to use their GI Bill for tuition purposes.
