MSB Conference Room (6th Floor CBA) Instructions

Here are some quick-reference instructions for the use of the facility. A more in-depth instruction page is being worked on at this time.

Quick Reference

To turn the control systems touch screen on:
Touch the face of the touch panel when screen is blank.
To turn on the system for presentations:
Press the Presentation Mode button. Automatic presets will run.
To hook up your laptop:
Connect the VGA cable from the table to your laptop. Press Computer on the touch panel to display your image on the projector.
To use the Document Camera:
Use Presentation Mode. Connect Doc Cam cable from the table to the Doc Camera. Press Document Camera on the touch panel to display on the projector.

Troubleshooting

No image sent from laptop to projector:
Check that the cable is connected.
Press Computer on touch panel screen in Presentation Mode.
Press the Fn and CRT/LCD (F8, F7, or F5) buttons to toggle output states.
Image from laptop is off the screen:
Check the resolution settings in your laptop’s Control Panel and set them for 1024 x 768.
