Brenda is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Operations and Marketing. She is Vice President of Internal Affairs of China Business Association. Brenda is also a member in the Graduate Operations Group and Graduate Women in Business. Prior to attending McCombs, Brenda worked as a senior operations manager in optics industry. Brenda earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Economics in International Economy and Trade from Shanghai Jiaotong University. She is originally from Shanghai, China.
Brendan is a member of the MBA Class of 2015, with concentrations in Finance and Operations Management. He is the VP of Operations in Sigma Fellows, and a member of the Entrepreneur Society, Graduate Business Technology Group, and Graduate Finance Association. Prior to attending McCombs, Brendan worked in online marketing for multiple start-ups in Austin, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas, and is originally from Dallas, Texas.
Cameron is a member of the MBA Class of 2015. He is the Vice President of External Relations for Sigma Fellows and the Vice President of Events for the Students and Significant Others Network. Cameron is also a member of the Graduate Business Technology Group and Graduate Operations Group. Prior to attending McCombs, Cameron worked as a manufacturing engineer in the aerospace industry. There, he optimized the uptime of a manufacturing robot, implemented software to increase assembly efficiency, and worked with cross-functional teams to solve issues on the manufacturing floor for a $60 million dollar project. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Cameron was born in Lubbock, Texas and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Christina is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Supply Chain Management and pursuing a career in sustainable supply chain and corporate responsibility. In addition to Sigma Fellows, she is heavily involved in Net Impact and OutSource. Before coming to McCombs, she managed resident programs at an affordable housing nonprofit in Houston. Christina studied Political Science at Brown University and is from Houston, Texas.
Christine is a member of the MBA Full-Time Class of 2015, concentrating in Operations and Finance. She is on the Recruiting Committee for Sigma Fellows, a member of the inaugural class of Corporate Finance Fellows, VP of Internal Affairs for Graduate Finance Association, and a Community Service Representative on the Graduate Business Council, in addition to being a member of Graduate Women in Business, Net Impact, and Graduate Operations Group. Prior to attending McCombs, Christine worked as a Property and Casualty Insurance Broker in Southern California. There she serviced a variety of clients in the Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Transportation industries. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from California State University, Long Beach and is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Lis is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 and is concentrating in Global Business and Information Management. She is also currently the Vice President of the Armed Forces Alumni Association and on the McCombs Admissions Committee. She hopes to work in operations in the technology industry after business school. Prior to coming to McCombs, Lis worked as an aviation operations officer in the U.S. Navy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in English from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and is originally from Atlanta, Georgia.
Haibin is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Finance and Operations. In addition to being a member of Sigma Fellows, Graduate Finance Association and Graduate Real Estate Society, he is the President of Chinese Business Association. Prior attending McCombs, Haibin began his career in engineering consulting industry as an analyst, doing cost control and project management for infrastructure projects. Then, he was promoted to be a project manager to lead a team. After that he was a senior commercial manager to procure and distribute engineering services for 30+ projects at the same time for a Top 50 ENR company in Shanghai, China. He earned a Bachelor and Master degree in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University. He is originally from Fujian Province, China.
Hanna is a member of the MBA Class of 2015. Hanna is concentrating in Operations and Supply Chain Management and has a strong interest in social enterprise. In addition to being a Sigma Fellow, Hanna is a Board Fellow, Vice-President of Career Development for Net Impact, and Cohort Community Service Representative on the Graduate Business Council. She is also a Graduate Research Assistant for the Ghana Global Connections program and a member of Texas Venture Labs. Prior to attending McCombs, Hanna worked as a Program Associate for Plan International USA, an international non-governmental organization based in Washington, D.C. She supported the implementation of education programs and spent two years managing education projects in Haiti and the Gambia. Hanna earned a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and is originally from New York City.
HaoWei is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Supply Chain Management and Healthcare. He is the Vice President of Programming for Sigma Fellows and also the Vice President of Recruiting for the MBA Healthcare Association, in addition to being a member of the Graduate Consulting Club and McCombs Admissions Committee. Prior to attending McCombs, HaoWei worked as a Product Manager for Alcon in both Beijing, China and Fort Worth, TX. There he oversaw Alcon’s surgical product lines for their operations in China, worth over $40 M USD in annual revenue, and helped Alcon launch 2 new medical device product lines. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in International Business and Marketing. This summer, HaoWei will be interning as a Summer Associate at A.T. Kearney management consulting firm.
Kelly is a member of the MBA Class of 2015, concentrating in global operations and supply chain. She is earning a dual masters with the LBJ School of Public Affairs, with a specialization on international development. She is VP of non-profit outreach for Board Fellows, serves on the LIVESTRONG board, and is the community service chair for the Graduate Business Council. In addition, she is a member of the Graduate Women in Business club and Net Impact. Prior to McCombs, she worked for IBM as a senior consultant in the Supply Chain and Operations Federal Sector division. She earned her BS in Economics and BA in International Relations at Michigan State University. She is originally from Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
After earning his Bachelor’s at Boston University, Marco went on to South Louisiana to work as a Teach For America corps member, working in a rural school north of Baton Rouge. His work in education prompted his interest to continue working in the same small town he taught, where he became Assistant Director of Centre for the Arts, and focused his work in marketing, finance and operations for the after-school arts program. The exposure in underserved areas of Louisiana solidified his intention to work in food distribution/food retail and earn his MBA, concentrating in supply chain and finance. This summer, he will be interning at Starbucks’ supply chain department in Seattle and plans to enter the food retail industry after graduation in 2015.
Mike is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Business Analytics and Operations. He is a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow, a member of the Latin and Hispanic MBA's Association, Mexican Graduate Association, Graduate Consulting Group, and is the Sigma Fellows External Relations Committee Chair. Prior to attending McCombs, Mike worked as a technology consultant for Accenture and Quorum Business Solutions in Dallas, Texas. There he managed and implemented large scale financial trading and accounting solutions for oil and gas clients. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from St. Mary’s University and is originally from San Antonio, Texas.
Nicole is a member of the MBA Full-Time Class of 2015, concentrating in Operations and Project Management. She is the Sigma Fellows President and a member of Graduate Operations Group, Graduate Clean Tech Group, Graduate Women in Business, and the Graduate Business Adventure Team. Prior to attending McCombs, Nicole worked as a Program Coordinator for ATR International Inc. managing a team of 15 recruiters and 6 account managers for the Wells Fargo National IT Account, with annual sales over $20 million. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from The University of Texas in Austin and is originally from Gladewater, Texas.
Nikki is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Operations and Supply Chain Management. In addition to participating in Sigma Fellows, she is an officer for the Graduate Operations Group and a member of the McCombs Admissions Committee and Graduate Women in Business. Prior to attending McCombs, Nikki worked as an Account Manager for BigBelly Solar in Boston, MA. There she worked with municipalities to reduce the cost of their waste and recycling practices. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boston University and originally is from South Windsor, Connecticut.
Patrick is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Operations Management and Innovation Leadership. He is Vice President of Recruiting for Sigma Fellows and President of the Graduate Business Adventure Team. Patrick is also a member of the Graduate Business Technology Group, Graduate Operations Group, and Entrepreneurship Society. Prior to attending McCombs, Patrick was an investment analyst at BlackRock in Seattle, WA. There, he worked on hedge fund valuation and trading for BlackRock’s fund-of-funds portfolios. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University and is originally from southeastern Washington.
Rashna is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Information Management and Operations. She is the Events Chair for Sigma Fellows as well as a member of Graduate Operations Group and McCombs Admissions Committee. Prior to attending McCombs, Rashna worked for Continental/United Airlines in revenue management, joint venture research and analysis, and alliances evaluation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a specialization in Actuarial Science from The University of Texas at Austin and is originally from Katy, TX.
Sebastian is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in Operations and Business Analytics. In addition to Sigma Fellows, he is a member of the Graduate Technology Group and the Latin and Hispanic MBA's Association. Prior to attending McCombs, Sebastian worked as an internal consultant for CAF, the biggest regional developing bank of South America. He was responsible for designing and implementing a new set of key performance indicators (KPI) and integrating them into the incentives plan of the company. Though Argentinian by birth, Sebastian spent most of his life in Venezuela where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
Tina is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 interested in operations and strategy development in the high-tech industry. In addition to Sigma Fellows, she is also part of the Graduate Consulting Group, Texas Venture Labs, and Graduate Business Technology Group. Prior to McCombs, Tina worked for a boutique leadership development consulting firm where she managed and helped develop seven training programs for clients in the mining industry. She also spent three years working at an Austin news station, planning the coverage for special events such as President Obama’s visit and SXSW. Tina is originally from Dallas, TX, and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in journalism.
Vivian is a member of the MBA Class of 2015 concentrating in finance and operations, with a focus on sustainability. She is also a member of the Graduate Clean Tech group and Net Impact. Prior to attending the McCombs School of Business, Vivian served as a Legislative Aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she covered foreign affairs and environmental policy.
