Online Technology Orientation

Welcome to BBA Technology Orientation. Technology is an important part of the learning environment at McCombs. The college has a sophisticated network and provides students with valuable resources like computer labs, McCombs email addresses and wireless internet access throughout our buildings. This site contains three modules that introduce you to various technology resources available to you.

Before you begin:

1. You must know your UT EID to begin the modules. Visit the UT EID Self Service Tools if you have forgotten your UT EID login or password.
2. Get your McCombs Computer Account (or MSB Account). This account is provided by the McCombs School of Business. You'll learn more about this account in the modules.
3. Bookmark this page. The Links tab contains all of the links mentioned in the orientation and is a good reference if you have questions later.

Keep in mind:

1. To hear the spoken voice, you should turn on your computer speakers or plug in earphones.
2. You can view the audio text by clicking the Expand/Collapse Audio Text link.
3. The Links tab on this page contains all of the links mentioned in the orientation. You can refer back to it at any time.

System Requirements:

1. This site is optimized for Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher. (Download Internet Explorer)
2. You must have Windows Media Player installed. (Download for Windows 7 or Vista | Download for Windows XP)

• BevoBucks: Bevo Bucks is the easy-to-use, cashless form of payment accessible through the student ID Card. Bevo Bucks is a prepaid account that students use to purchase food, goods and services at participating locations, both on and off campus.
