Careers & Opportunities
McCombs graduates have a reputation among recruiters for productivity, skill and leadership potential. MBA placement (employment three months after graduation) was sixth in the nation in a recent BusinessWeek ranking. Besides excellent recruiting programs offered through the Ford Career Center, students receive coaching on everything from case presentation skills to business dining etiquette. And it is working. Our graduates are proving themselves with strong general-management points of view, track records of moving up to greater levels of responsibility, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and earn their leadership opportunities. The dominant business school in Texas and the Southwest, we’re also one of the most successful at placing graduates outside our region.
