Alumni Admissions Volunteers
How do I sign up to interview full-time prospective MBA students?
- Update your contact information in the alumni directory. You will need your UT EID and password. If you do not remember them, additional assistance may be obtained here.
- Under 'Involvement Information,' select ‘Yes’ for Admissions Volunteer. The Admissions Office will contact you with further information about the program. Additional questions can be directed to Interview@mccombs.utexas.edu.
- Additional information is also available at http:/www.mccombs.utexas.edu/alumni/mma/involve/maan.asp. You will also need your UT EID and password to access this site.
- Please note that we do not assign interviewers. Applicants choose an interviewer in their region, so there are no guarantees that you will get an interview request.

What is the policy for using the alumni directory?
Rules & Regulations
- Alumni may only network with other alumni if they have also allowed some of their contact information to be displayed to alumni.
- The network is to be used for social and business contacts, but not sales leads! We are a valuable resource to one another, please respect that.
- Networking is a privilege and access will be restricted if necessary.
- We promise to maintain the data, you must promise to use it and keep your information current!
Security Note
Stringent precautions have been taken to ensure that the database is secure. This site uses cookies to validate that you are a MOR member. Nothing is written to your harddrive. Status cookies are set which are only held in your browser's memory which holds an encoded unique identifier to track you.
How do I update my information in the alumni directory?
- Visit the McCombs Online Resources (MOR) Web page:
https://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/MOR. - Click Login using your UT EID (see below for instructions on how to locate your UT EID).
- Mouse over Profile Suite
- Click Update Your Profile
How do I search for fellow alumni in the online directory?
- Visit the McCombs Online Resources (MOR) Web page:
https://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/MOR. - Click Login using your UT EID (see below for instructions on how to locate your UT EID).
- Click Alumni Directory.
- Populate search form with criteria of interest. You can search by alumni name, employer, city, or industry.
- Click Search at the bottom of the form
Career Services
What career services are available for alumni?
Alumni career resources are available at: http://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/alumni/careers/ including a brochure with more details, the McCombs Job Board, Access UT, and the McCombs Alumni Directory. Additionally, alumni are welcome to use the PCL for research or the physical resources in our career services office.
Can alumni take advantage of on-campus recruiting?
Unfortunately, we are not able to make our on-campus recruiting positions available to alumni. All access to campus recruiting terminates once you have left the program. We encourage all companies to post alumni positions on the McCombs Job Board (MJB). Many companies simultaneously post positions on the MJB and our on-campus recruiting system.
How can I hire McCombs students and/or alumni?
Please post alumni positions to the McCombs Job Board. For more information about hiring students, visit http://fcc.mccombs.utexas.edu/employers.
Transcripts
How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?
Visit the Registrar’s Web site at http://registrar.utexas.edu/students/records/transcripts/ for instructions on ordering transcripts. They may be ordered online, by mail, by telephone, by fax, in person, or by proxy. The cost is $10 per transcript.
UT EID
How do I find my UT EID?
If you need assistance with your UT EID, please email alumni@mccombs.utexas.edu with your name, degree and graduation year. If you need assistance with your password for access to sites such as the Alumni Directory and McCombs Job Board, please use the online self-service tools or call the ITS Help Desk at 512-475-9400.

I am a prospective MBA student, how do I contact alumni for information about the program?
You are granted access to the MAAN Gallery when you register at https://acsprod.mccombs.utexas.edu/Prospects/. After registering, you may submit a request to gain access to the MAAN gallery. Following your request, you will receive an email with instructions regarding how to search for alumni in your area.
Was I assigned a social security number when I was a McCombs international student?
UT requires students to have a social security number so you would have received a temporary social security number shortly after you began attending UT. If you lived in the U.S. for a significant length of time, you were most likely assigned a permanent social security number.
To gain access to your social security number, contact the social security office at http://www.ssa.gov/reach.htm.
Can I use the alumni network to promote my political campaign?
The McCombs School and the alumni network are prohibited from any involvement in the promotion of political candidates. If we were to endorse one candidate, UT requires that we include all candidates.
