Dear MBA Alumni,

Welcome to the sixth edition of Exchange, the annual magazine distributed to more than 16,000 McCombs MBA alumni worldwide.

I am pleased to share with you that we just concluded the 12th year of the McCombs MBA Alumni Network and our first year of expanding alumni offerings to include all 84,000 McCombs alumni. This growth provides a tremendous opportunity for us to strengthen both our personal and professional networks.

In the coming year, you can look forward to many exciting opportunities to learn from distinguished faculty and connect with fellow alumni and classmates, current students and McCombs representatives. I encourage you to take advantage of the following:

• The Annual Alumni Business Conference: Hot Topics in Business offers a variety of perspectives on the latest happenings in business and a keynote address from MBA alumnus and NASA astronaut Greg Johnson.
• The Alumni Directory is a great tool for you to use to ensure that you are receiving all updates from the school and to search for alumni by city, grad year and employer.
• The NEW Alumni Career Resources Web Site provides many valuable internal and external resources, including networking opportunities and information about alumni who have pursued paths as career coaches and are now offering discounted services to McCombs graduates.
• Semiannual Chapter Receptions serve to bring together alumni and current students to network both personally and professionally.
• The Faculty Speaker Series sends outstanding faculty members to local chapters to share their latest research and bring together a cross-section of alumni interested in a single topic.
• The McCombs Job Board connects employers seeking to hire McCombs alumni with those looking for positions. Post or search for jobs using this valuable resource.
• Join LinkedIn and Facebook groups to reconnect with fellow classmates and expand your network.

I want to take a moment to thank our numerous alumni volunteers who further strengthen our alumni network, recruit current students, interview prospective students and who serve as resources to one another and the school in various ways. You work tirelessly to make a difference, and we truly appreciate you.
