Getting Involved

Foster the Legacy of Your Degree

Alumni are essential to the development of initiatives for the McCombs community. Thousands of alumni participate in leadership roles throughout the world by active involvement in the activities listed below.

MMA Network Advisory Board

The force behind many initiatives on behalf of alumni and the MBA program, including our Online Directory, Exchange Magazine, Annual Awards Celebration, and alumni outreach efforts. View a list of current board members and submit a nomination.

MMA Network Advisory Board Committees

Advisory board committees include Chapter Presidents, Mentorship, Governance, Experienced Alumni, Alumni Recognition, and Alumni Giving. They provide leadership that strengthens the network every year. Committees collaborate with current students and school leaders, draw alumni back into the community, and provide a forum for introducing new programs or initiatives.

MBA Alumni Endowed Excellence Fund

Created by MBAs for MBAs, this fund supports student initiatives with a broad and lasting positive impact. Examples of past projects funded include the Women in Business Leadership Conference, the Open MIC Case Challenge, FullCircle, the Net Impact Sustainable Business Summit, and New Directions for MBAs. Unique to McCombs, MAEEF has an interactive award selection process that encourages students to seek alumni advice and learn from their experience. Students, alumni, and school representatives work together to determine which initiative will receive the award each year.

McCombs Alumni Admissions Network (MAAN)

Our alumni play an integral role in shaping the future of the McCombs School of Business by helping us recruit top applicants to the MBA Program. Through MAAN, alumni can get involved by volunteering at forums around the nation and worldwide, interviewing applicants, answering questions via e-mail, attending welcome receptions, or contacting recently-admitted applicants.
