Each month we will include a series of brief topics with links leading to additional information about alumni, faculty, students, centers, activities, and programs.

Come One, Come All: Explore UT to be Held on March 2

This third annual campus-wide open house draws thousand of visitors from all over Texas as each UT college showcases what it does best through a variety of fun and educational activities. The McCombs School will have a stock-market trading game in the EDS Trading Center, career panels and information sessions for prospective students, and other business-related games and presentations. We'll also be giving away goods and services in our day-long raffle. Raffle sponsors so far include the Hyatt Regency Austin, the Renaissance Hotel Austin, Capra & Cavelli (men's clothing), and Frito-Lay. The Class of 1977 is invited to a 25-Year Reunion on March 1-2. Activities will be held at the McCombs School as well as campus-wide. The New York Times Airs Michael Granof’s Views on Enron-Andersen

The New York Times featured an opinion piece on the Enron-Andersen affair by McCombs School accounting professor Michael Granof and Stephan Zeff, professor of accounting at Rice University. Fifth Annual Student Endowed Scholarship/Fellowship Dinner Held on February 1

Recipients of student scholarships, fellowships, and excellence funds had the opportunity to meet their donors at the annual dinner attended by nearly 300. See photo gallery.

Business Honors Program Hosts First Annual Leadership Symposium

McCombs Marketing MBAs Win Silver Medal

Student teams from eight leading MBA schools competed in the 12th Annual Babcock MBA Marketing Case Competition. The teams examined the marketing of HIV/AIDS drugs in South Africa. Go to complete story
