Mitte Foundation Gives $10 Million to Help Create 115 McCombs School Scholarships

A $10 million gift from the Roy F. and Joann Cole Mitte Foundation will help create 100 Business Honors Program undergraduate scholarships and 15 graduate fellowships. Go to the press release...

MBA Team Wins $100,000 in MOOT CORP® Competition

A team of McCombs School MBAs won first prize in the 19th annual competition on December 6. The Private Concepts team will use the prize money to market an at-home cervical cancer screen test. See the press release for more details.

Hermes Society Provides Opportunity for Founding Members

This new recognition society is open to all friends of the McCombs School and is named after Hermes, the School’s honorary patron. Symbolizing commerce, negotiation, and all enterprises requiring agility and technical prowess, Hermes was chosen as patron of the school the year of its establishment in 1922. Steve Salbu Selected as New Associate Dean of MBA Program

Dr. Steve Salbu will succeed Dr. Phil Zerrillo as Associate Dean of the MBA Program, effective June 1, 2002. See the press release.

Internet Economy Updates Go On the Road

Anitesh Barua, member of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers, will keynote a series of interactive learning events in Austin, Houston and Dallas. Retirement Celebration Planned for Eleanor Jordan

Save the Date for Class of 1952 50-Year and Class of 1977 25-Year Reunions!

The Class of 1952 is invited to a 50-Year Reunion on April 11-12 and the Class of 1977 is invited to a 25-Year Reunion on March 1-2. Come One, Come All: Explore UT to be Held on March 2

This third annual campus-wide open house draws thousand of visitors from all over Texas. Each UT college showcases what it does best through a variety of fun and educational activities. The McCombs School features a stock-market trading game in the EDS Trading Center, career panels and information sessions for prospective students, and other business-related games and presentations.
