Sweeney Challenge Jump-Starts Byars/Jordan Matching Opportunity

Steve (1990 MIS BBA) & Cathy Sweeney (1987 Accounting BBA), who founded the Byars/Jordan Endowment for MIS Excellence, recently gave another $10,000 in the form of a challenge to MIS BBA Program alumni. Matched in a matter of months, this $20,000 is part of a goal to increase this excellence fund by $100,000. This addition will qualify the endowment for a $100,000 match from the Red McCombs gift. Since the $100,000 challenge was announced in October, MIS BBA alumni have given almost $35,000--only $65,000 to go! For more information, see the Sweeney article.
