Four Professors Receive National Accounting Awards The American Accounting Association has given distinguished awards to four McCombs professors. Read the press release... Meet the New McCombs Chairs The McCombs School welcomes three new department chairs this year in Management, Finance, and Management Science Information Systems. Learn more about the new chairs. McCombs BBA and MBA Programs Remain Highly Ranked In the latest rankings released by the Wall Street Journal, the McCombs MBA program placed #7 worldwide out of 100 programs ranked. The most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings placed the undergraduate program #7, tied with New York University and Carnegie Mellon. Professor Bob Peterson Assumes Role as Research Dean Robert Peterson, a longtime McCombs professor with a distinguished background in marketing, has been appointed associate dean for research and director of the Bureau of Business Research. Financial Analyst Program Provides Skill Development for Undergraduate Students In Fall 1997, the Finance Department created a one-year program that provides an opportunity for a highly-selective group of business students to work closely with finance faculty and industry professionals to develop their skills and experience as analysts.
